Asaba – DELTA State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, has cautioned members of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, against indulging in any form of anti-party activity  by voting candidates of other political parties in the elections.

He charged those involved in such unholy act “to change and embrace the campaign strategy of the party.”
Political observers hinted Vanguard that there were some protest votes in some parts of Delta North during last Saturday’s National Assembly elections as some members of PDP voted against the party.

Uduaghan gave the warning at Ogwashi-Uku, during his campaign for his second term bid. He later held a town hall meeting with the people.

He assured people in the area that the water dam project being executed in the area will soon be ready and also promised to revive the Oil Palm Company in the area to provide employment for the youths of the area.
The governor, who was on a courtesy visit to the Obi of Ogwashi-Uku, Prof. Chukwuka Okonjo, appealed to top government functionaries to realise that royal fathers were the custodians of the people’s culture.
