Chartered accountant and heir apparent of the Dafinone dynasty, Chief Ede Dafinone, Wednesday, in Sapele, Delta State, joined millions of Nigerians to caution perpetrators of post-election violence now unleashing mayhem in some northern states, to tow the part of peace.

Chief Dafinone, a former Democratic Peoples Party, DPP, aspirant for Delta central senatorial district said, the presidential election conducted across the country on April 16, 2011, in which president Goodluck Jonathan was  declared the winner, was free and fair enough for the Nigerian populace to thank the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC and President Jonathan for a job well done.

Chief Dafinone, who said he defected from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to DPP because he wanted to support true democracy in Delta State, said both local and foreign observers had confirmed that last Saturday’s election was the freest and fairest ever conducted in the country.
