Nigeria’s foremost private property development company, Messrs UACN Property Development Company (UPDC) Plc is at it again! Barely one month after the groundbreaking ceremony to flag of Cameron Green Estate in highbrow Ikoyi, the company has flagged off the construction and sale of yet another highbrow estate in Lagos. The new estate which would be built on 1.8 hectare corner piece land on Ladipo Omotosho Cole Street, Lekki Peninsula Phase 1, is named Metro Gardens.

Marketing Manager of the property development company, Mrs Titilayo Ajayi said the estate is barely five minute drive from the Palms Shopping mall, Mobil corporate headquarters and the Civic centre in Victoria Island, Lagos.

She explained that the 55- unit estate “parades scenic and exciting architectural masterpieces and avails future residents an opportunity to secure or retain an accommodation among the Nigerian upper crust”.

Specifically, the company is developing five and four bedroom detached houses, three and four bedroom terrace houses and four bedroom pent houses.

Flaunting the main attractions of Metro Gardens, Mrs Ajayi said: “ The standard features in all units include master bedroom with Jacuzzi, fitted kitchen, smoke detector and alarm system, DSTV and internet connections as well as air conditioning unit in all rooms. The estate will be a haven for discerning customers who are ready to reap the benefits of their hard work in life and want the best for themselves and their families”.

Other facilities to be provided in the estate include: swimming pools, a gymnasium, standby generator and transformer, water treatment plant parks, green areas and a playground. There would also be a Club House and Security and CCTV monitoring.

Continuing, she stated that “Residents of Metro Gardens would enjoy the sanity, serenity and romance with nature as the estate is sandwiched between the Atlantic and the Lagos lagoon. They may also savor the unpolluted, cool sea breeze which helps relaxed living and longevity. More interesting is the fact that its nearness to the centres of commerce in Victoria Island and Ikoyi helps residents to escape the legendary Lagos traffic jam, thereby saving valuable time that can be deployed to more productive activities”.
