P-Square, others rock Kaduna

Glos’s orchestrated  Rock ‘n’ Rule show took Kaduna by storm last Saturday.

The event held at the Prison Staff College, Barnawa, had all the spices that have made it the most engaging and entertaining show in recent times in the cities where the show  has so far taken place.

Besides parading the best hands in the nation’s entertainment industry to delight of the mammoth crowd that witnessed the show, it also rewarded talents in the pageant segment of the show and also youngsters who could dance or sing.

The crowd, estimated to be far above 35,000 people in number, remained energetic till the end of the show just as the numerous artistes, including Wande Coal, Eedris Abdukareem and the sensational twins, P-Square, comedians Basket Mouth and Gbenga Adeyinka and award winning DJ Jimmy Jatt, were at their best.

The crowning of Miss Tolulope Ogunmodede as the winner of the Miss Rock ‘n’ Rule pageant was hailed by the crowd, which had been rooting for her even before the anchor for the segment, Ramsey Noah, called out her number. Tolulope, a graduate of Production and Operations Management from Kaduna Polytechnic, did a fantastic drama sketch which got everyone clapping for her artistry.

While Ogunmodede went home with a cash prize of N250,000, Jennifer King and Nkechi Esonanjor, who came second and third went home with N150,000 and N100,000 respectively.

The winner in the male category was Chidozie Nebo, a 400-Level student of Computer Science in Caritas University, Enugu, who danced his heart out to the delight of all. He got a cash prize of N250,000.

Emeka Ezeagwula, came second and Geoffrey Eboson was third. They also went home with cash prizes of N250,000, N150,000 and N100,000 respectively.
