CONSOLIDATED Hallmark Insurance Plc , has appointed four top executives to take charge of strategic units of the company as part of its drives to continually meet the expectations of its customers and its commitment to excellent service delivery

The new appointments are Mr. Opadokun, General Manager, Technical Group, Mr. Ekechukwu, Regional Director, Northern Operations, Mr. Daramola, General Manager, Finance and Mrs. Kate Head, Audit & Risk Management Unit.

Bode Opadokun
Bode is a graduate of Insurance from the Lagos State Polytechnic and has a Masters degree in Business Administration from Delta State University.

He was recently conferred with the Fellowship status of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria.
His career started at Cornerstone Insurance Plc in 1991. A prudent underwriter and an effective marketer, he worked as a pioneer executive management staff of First Chartered Insurance Company Limited, Consolidated Risks Insurers Limited and recently as the General Manager, Energy & Special Risks in Consolidated Hallmark Insurance Plc.

He has attended several local and international training programmes.

Mac Ekechukwu
He holds both the Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degrees of the Enugu State University of Science & Technology. Mac is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (ACII).

He worked with Eagle Insurance Brokers where he rose to the position of Assistant General Manager and Chief Operations Officer (AGM/COO) and later Elmac Assurance Nigeria Ltd as Senior Manager (Marketing), Guinea Insurance AGM (Operations), as well as Hallmark Assurance Plc as Executive Director Operations.

Mac, is an Alumnus of the Lagos Business School, amongst other institutions.

Babatunde Daramola
Tunde graduated from the Lagos State Polytechnic in 1994 with a Higher National Diploma in Insurance. He is an Associate member of both the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
Mr. Daramola has worked with several reputable organisations including Glanvill Enthoven & Co. (Nig.), Continental Trust Bank Ltd., where he served in the Financial Control & Strategy Department with responsibility for Insurance and Tax Management, external audit, and budget amongst others, prior to his latest responsibilities in Consolidated Hallmark Insurance Plc as Deputy General Manager, Corporate Planning & Technology.

He has attended several training programmes on regulatory Compliance issues, Insurance Best Practise & Accounting.

Kate Itua
Mrs Itua attended the University of Ibadan where she obtained the University’s Bachelor Degree in Economics/Education.

A Chartered Accountant and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, her wealth of experience spans over a decade most of which was spent at the foremost Audit/Consultancy firm, Akintola Williams Deloitte at Senior Management level.

Kate handled several key Audit responsibilities in the firm including leading audit engagements for preparation of financial statements, development of audit plans, review of financial statements, and development of audit plans, among others.
She has acquired several technical training to enhance her competencies.
