Smarting from the launch of the second season of its customer promo tagged, Text4millions 2 and subsequently reedeming prizes for the first set of winners in the promo penultimate week, Second National Telecommunications operator, Globacom has also expressed appreciation to its business partners nationwide by hosting them in a classy and exclusive evening in Lagos .

The event held at the Eko Hotel and Suites, had Globacom Business Associates flown in from all over the country and lodged at the hotel.
Many of them were full of praises for Globacom for the soar_away experience, describing it as a tonic to propel stronger future business partnership.

Apart from the classy treatment, one of the business associates will be given a 3_day VIP treatment next February when Globacom’s English Premier League partner, Manchester United plays Olympic Marseille in the European Championship Round of 16 match.
The opportunity, he disclosed, would be available to the business associate with the best performance in December 2010 and January 2011.

Globacom’s Group Chief Operating Officer, Mr Mohamed Jameel, who disclosed the package to the business associates, said: “One of our business associates will travel royalty style with Manchester United when the team travels to play Olympic Marseille in February. He or she will occupy Seat 3A on the flight and will stay in the same hotel with the stars, watch them train and play the match”, Jameel said amidst applause from the associates.

The event was also another opportunity for Globacom to reassure the business partners of the company’s commitment to continue strengthening its support for their business success.

Speaking at the event, Globacom’s Sales Director, Mr Ken Hall said that going by the performances of the business associates in the outgoing year, they had truly given meaning to their relationship with Globacom.

“There have been remarkable improvements and part of this has been through the unrelenting works of our business associates out there in the market”, he told the happy gathering of Glo business partners who came from all over the country.

He added that the company would continue to give business incentives, adding that in the new year, business associates who grow the level of business in their location would have much more reasons to cheer.

The event which also had other senior officials of the company in attendance was not without a bagful of fun and entertainment as comedian AY, had everyone reeling in laughter for much of the evening. Equally, Glo ambassadors, P_Square and Ego led a pack of other music stars who serenaded the trade partners at the event.

Speaking after the event, some of the business associates commended Globacom for the gesture. Mr Mike Nnadozie of Montel Global Systems Limited based in Anambra said it was a commendable step that Globacom was hosting its associates at the end of the year at such an informal gathering. He said such step would continue to motivate them.

Alhaji Hafiz Marafa, CEO of Gwagware International Limited, Katsina also appreciated the end of year Gala for the business associates by Globacom, adding that such level of appreciation would propel them to redouble efforts in 2011.
