Eagles: Siasia’s first week introductory, Rufai

By IME BASSEY
As the home based Super Eagles return  to their various clubs for this weekend league matches, former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Peter Rufai says that the team’s last week training was just an introduction for the players to know Siasia’s strategy and style of play.

In a chat with Sunday Vanguard Sport, Dodo Mayana, as his is fondly called said Siasia is expected to tell the players his dos and don’ts.

“I believe that Siasia’s first one week in camp is just to let the boys know his dos and don’ts, from there he would begin to implement what he expects from the boys to see which of them is fit enough physically and technically for his team.”

“I think what he is doing now is to map out his strategy for the actual team we all desire, so we as stakeholders  we should give him the necessary support he needs believing that all is well.”

“For me, whatever steps he is taking to run the team, free hand is expected from all quarters because he knows what we Nigerians what and he himself wants to achieve success, so I feel we should let things unfold so we can all enjoy the out come better,” he said.
