The Director General of the National Office for Technology Acquisition and Promotions (NOTAP), Engr. Umar Buba Bindir, has given the agency’s endorsement of approval to the Nigeria Technology Promotion Exhibition (NITPEX), scheduled to hold in December.
Speaking while receiving Mr. Daniel Omatseyin Moore, CEO of Thelia Productions, initiator of the event and Dr. Alistair Soyode, CEO of BEN TV, UK, he lauded the initiative which serves as a platform for local technology content developers to showcase their expertise.
“As Nigeria marks 50 years as a nation, we deserve to have a truly indigenous technology show/ exhibition where local technology content developers can be encouraged to showcase their works” he stated. Announcing NOTAP’s sponsorship of the NITPEX initiative, and also partnership”
He further stated that the governmental agency All is now set for the hosting of the maiden edition of the Nigeria Technology Promotion Exhibition (NITPEX). NITPEX is a unique exhibition designed to promote and foster creativity and innovation in the area of indigenous technology development in Nigeria. At NITPEX, indigenous companies and individuals will have the opportunity of showcasing their technology-based products and services various sectors of the economy.
