General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye has charged the nation’s Media to take responsibility for the re-orientation programme of government instead of the current efforts by government agencies.
Speaking on ‘The Storm is Over’ at a Vanguard Media Christian Fellowship end of year revival, he said the Media is better positioned to re-brand the nation and put the country in good pedestal for foreign investors to come.
According to him, some newsmen had asked him at a forum what he thinks of government’s re-branding programme, he said he told them that government cannot re-brand the nation, rather the Media will.
Pastor Adeboye’s team includes: Pastor Oyitso Brown, Pastor in charge of Lagos Province 23; Pastor Tokunbo Olorunnimbe, Personal Secretary to the G.O.; Pastor Leke Adeboye, Personal Assistant to the G.O.; Pastor Olaitan Olubiyi, Managing Editor Redemption Light Magazine.
Others present include Mr. Frank Aigbogun, former Editor of Vanguard; Mr. Bisi Lawrence, Vanguard Editorial Consultant; Mr. Idowu Ajanaku, SSA to Governor Fashola of Lagos State and Ms. Mobolali Onajide.
1.45 pm: Pastor Adeboye departs Vanguard.
