Former commis-sioner of Delta State Local Government Service Commission, Mr. Mike Seikegba, has said that there would be no opposition to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Bomadi Local Government Area of the state in the forth coming general elections.
Seikegba stated this in Esanma community at a ceremony to receive 86 decamping members of the Progressive Peoples Alliance, PPA, to the PDP, assuring that the issue of opposition was now a thing of the past in Bomadi council.
He urged the former PPA members to feel free in the PDP and bring to bear, their experience in moving the PDP forward.
Speaking on behalf of the decamping members, Mr. Awusa Gbekubo, said their decision was based on the present realities in the PDP at the federal and state levels, noting that there was now a level playing ground for every member of the PDP.
Earlier, the chairman of PDP in Bomadi council, Prince Pius Labo, thanked them for their bold steps, assuring them that, they will not be discriminated against.
Labo who was represented by the secretary of the party Mr. Kenneth Ebitonmo urged them with political aspiration to feel free and contest.
