StreetFinders, in conjunction with Lagos Island Millennium Group on the Environment (LIMGE) and the Lagos Central Business District, CBD, has launched a new web portal targeted, primarily, at those who work, live or ply their trade in the precincts of the Lagos Business District.

The new website, www.cbdportal.com, is the brain child of Streetfinders which has been working with LIMGE and the CBD to help turn the CBD into a world class business precinct.

The idea sprung from the production of street maps to help visitors and tourists navigate the CBD as well as the labyrinthine streets of old Lagos Island. With the success of that project, Streetfinders decided to create a virtual community for all those who live in ,work on or trade in the CBD and contiguous areas.

Speaking about the emergence of www.cbdportal.com, Mr Ladipo Taiwo, MD/CEO of Streetfinders said that “with the return of the Lagos Island to its pre-eminent position as the foremost Central Business District in Nigeria, it has become imperative to find a common meeting ground for professionals and business men who work and live in Lagos Island.
