Jonathan in Anambra, commissions projects

President Goodluck Jonathan, yesterday, started a working visit of some states in the South East, with the commissioning of the National Agency for Food, Drug, Administration and Control, NAFDAC’s upgraded ultra modern area quality control laboratory, at Agulu, Anambra State and many other projects.

Anambra which was the President’ first point of call, also witnessed the commissioning of the assembly plant of the first indigenous Nigerian auto manufacturing company in Nigeria, Innoson Motor Manufacturing in Nnewi, Anambra State.

Also commissioned were  buildings at the new Anambra State University Teaching Hospital, Awka, the state’s secretariat,  the Kenneth Dike Library, and the state’s Emergency Management Complex, which is housing many federal parastatals.

Other projects commissioned include  the Parental Drugs factory of Juhel Pharmaceuticals Industries, though a private company and many roads and bridges in parts of the state built by the state government.
