Former Super Eagles assistant coach Joe Erico has charged the management of the Nigeria Premier League to be up and doing as they approach the 2010/ 2011 season which starts on 24th October, 2010.
Erico, urged the management to do there best if they want the league to attract positive attention.
“With the problem we are encountering in the national team, if we had taking the league seriously we would have gone far. Our problem still remains that we are still poor in our managing our league.
The standard is supposed to be the bedrock of football in the country if there had been a proper handling of the game.
“Though it is painful that we are still where we are but in all we need to put our past behind us and think of the future.
Now that the league will still start, i want to see a better league this season. A well transformed and crime-free league,” Erico
