Ilorin—Kwara state governorship candidate on the platform of Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Alhaji Mohammad Dele Belgore (SAN) has warned the State Independent Electoral Commission, KWISIEC, not to conduct the scheduled local government election in October without fresh voters’ register.
Speaking with journalists in Ilorin over his governorship ambition, Belgore said arrangements have been concluded to challenge the election in court adding, that two thirds of the voters’ register in the state is fake, so there was no way the election would not be fraught with fraud. It noted that such development was unacceptable.
Belgore said he was battle-ready for the challenges ahead of him to displace the Saraki dynasty in Kwara politics and win the next governorship election because he has the ability and experience.
