Leading mobile phone maker, Nokia has introduced into the Nigeria IT  market original Nokia accessories.
Some of these accessories which are very environment-friendly include Nokia travel charger AC8E, Nokia 16 GB Meomry card MU 44, Nokia Music headset HS-AD57, Nokia extra power DC- first aid for power supply, speakerphone HF 310, Mobile TV receiver SU-33W, stereo headset WH-500, Nokia Bluetooth stereo headset BH-905, Nokia Bluetooth Headset BH-607, Nokia efficiency charger AC-8e, Nokia Battery BL-C, Nokia carrying case CP-358 and Nokia battery BP-6MT.

A good feature of these accessories is that for instance the Nokia Bluetooth Headset BH-607 allows users to enjoy superior sound quality even in noisy environments with new ultimate audio features that enhance speech clarity and reduce distracting background noise as you talk, while the energy efficient Nokia Compact Travel Charger AC-15 helps users become environmentally friendly because of its extremely low no-load energy consumption and a smaller environmental impact due to its smaller size. Also it is slim enough to fit in your pocket or bag so you can have it nearby whenever your compatible Nokia device needs charged.

According to the Managing Director Celect distribution, Mr. Kareem Said, “the introduction of these accessories into the market is to ensure that existing Nigerian customers enjoy efficient and quality product which is the hallmark of the brand”.

For one thing, the  Nigerian Silicon Valley,   has indeed, grown into a international market attracting patronage from the West African sub-regions including Togo, Ghana, Benin Republic, Cameroun, among others.

For many Nigerian who may not know, GSM phones, computer accessaries and peripherals come very cheap in the Computer Village because majority of these  products come through grey market without adequate regulations on standardization.

Part of the reasons for the high patronage of the products from the Computer Village is as a result of the fact that most low scale businesses like business centers, law firms, advertising agencies, small manufacturing outfits cannot afford the prices of branded products whose pricing were designed for multinationals.

However, apart from high cost of renting shops,  street trading, threats from street urchins and many other  challenges facing the market, the place has been the toast of many Nigerian graduates as a result of attractive job offers available.
