LAGOS — To sustain his tree planting and green campaign, and meet the target of planting three million trees before the end of his administration, Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola  will lead Lagosians in this year’s tree planting campaign with the theme, One-man One-tree.

The exercise, which is billed to commemorate the second anniversary of the annual tree planting campaign which began in 2008, will hold tomorrow.

As usual, the exercise will take place in many locations throughout the state with the Governor leading the campaign team at LASU road junction, Isheri, Alimosho Local Government. His wife, Mrs. Emmanuella Fashola, will oversee the tree planting exercise in Ifako Ijaye area.

Deputy Governor, Princess Sarah Sosan, and the Special Adviser to the Governor on Environment, Mr. Sesan Olanrewaju, will represent the Governor in Ikorodu and Epe, respectively.
