OSOGBO— Chairman Senate Committee on Appropriation, Senator Iyiola Omisore yesterday kicked off his governorship campaign in Osun State with visit to some traditional rulers in the state.

Senator Omisore began his state wide consultation with the aim of winning the sole ticket of the ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, for the next year governorship election.

His entourage which consists of party leaders which included members of the National Assembly, local government chairmen and councillors among others before embarking on the trips visited the state secretariat of the party.

The entourage in a motorcade moved from the party secretariat and drove directly to the palace of the Orangun of Oke-Ila, Oba Adedokun Abolarin who prayed for the success of Omisore at the party’s primary.
