The English national team and the United States of America played a  1-1 draw game at the ongoing 2010 Fifa World Cup in South Africa.

Steven Gerrard  put the English national team 1 goal up after 4minutes into play  in a Group C match at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium  in Rustenburg, South Africa.

However a goalkeeping blunder  by  Robert Green costs England a goal as  US  Clint Dempsey  scored the equaliser. The eventful match ended in a draw.
