EDO State branch of   the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) has directed its members in Esan Central Local Government Council to stay out of their offices for the safety of their lives after alleged assault of one of its members, Mr. Sunday Isidahomen, by a member of the council’s legislative arm.

The union in a statement in Benin yesterday  at the end of its meeting, said that on 30 March 2010, the alleged attacker came into the staff canteen where Isidahomen was taking his lunch, and attempted to stab him with a broken bottle for no justifiable reasons.
