Oshiomhole abandonded us, says Edo LP

BENIN—THE Deputy Chairman of the Labour Party in Edo State, Comrade Smart Binitie, yesterday accused Governor Adams Oshiomhole of abandoning the party in the state, warning that the sycophants in Action Congress, AC, and decampees from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, may be his undoing in governance.

Binitie expressed surprise at the manner the governor allegedly failed to build the party in the state and his refusal to give appointments to Labour Party members.

He said:  “I am disappointed that he has so much trust in all these decampees from PDP while abandoning Labour Party. If you look at the trend of what is happening among the PDP people, they always decamp when they cannot get what they want from their party.

“These people, he has to watch them because they are going to be the ones that will turn around to fight him later. Most of the local government chairmen are moving because they want their excess crude money and other allocations from him and after they collect it, they will use it someday to fight him.”
