THE National Co-ordinator of Enuani Democratic Leaque, Aniocha South Council Area of Delta State, Mr. Collins Iwebunor, has called for massive enlightenment on the amendment of the Electoral Law now going on at the National Assembly.

He said the reform has become imperative if the nation was to witness a credible election that meets international standards come 2011.

While lauding the effort of the Acting President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, to enthrone true democracy, Iwebunor said the enlightenment programme will help to keep those at the grassroots informed on the  electoral law.

His words: “For instance, the reform will incorporate new ideas which the people do not have knowledge of.”
