The Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) has commiserated with Mr. Dan Ngerem, a former president of the body, who lost his father yesterday.

President of the AFN, Chief Solomon Ogba, expressed shock at the new of the demise of the senior Ngerem. “We at the Athletics Federation of Nigeria are sad to hear of the passing into glory of the father of one of our former presidents, Mr. Dan Ngerem. We share in the sad moment with Mr. Ngerem and hope that he and his entire family will bear the loss with fortitude,” observed Chief Ogba.
