ADO-EKITI—The immediate past Commissioner for Information and Strategy in Lagos, Mr Dele Alake, has publicly declared his intention to go to the senate, vowing to correct the perceived injustice meted to the people of Ekiti State.
The former commissioner said he would contest for Ekiti Central Senatorial District under the platform of the Action Congress, AC, the Senatorial District comprises of five councils of Ado Ekiti, Irepodun/lfelodun,Efon -Alaye, Ekiti West and Ijero Local Governments.
Speaking while declaring his intention at Ijero Ekiti, headquarters, Ijero Local Government Council, the veteran journalist promised to bring his experience, exposure and maturity in public office to bear in the National Assembly if elected by his people.
Apparently referring to his political rivals, Messers Babafemi Ojudu and Opeyemi Bamidele, who incidentally are all Lagos based contesting in the same party for the same office, Alake said he would surpassed all of them as he had what it takes to be in the Senate.
