Barely two weeks before  the much awaited eWorld Broadband forum slated for first week of March 2010, Nigerian frontiers in  co-location and infrastructure sharing Helios Towers and IHS have also endorsed the forum that is expected to discuss among other things development of broadband in Nigeria
This is even as the number of industry associations throwing their support and accepting to speak at the March Broadband forum coordinated by eWorld Magazine continues to swell
With this development, William Saad of   I H S and Fazal Hussain also of Helios Towers will present their companies roadmap for broadband growth in Nigeria.
Recently Helios Towers and Multilinks signed a fully managed network services agreement that will see the CDMA operator reduce its operating and capital expenditure.
Similarly, I H S recently reported an impressive 2009 operation posting a turnover of N11.340 billion representing an increase of 56 per cent and a pre -tax profit of N1.426 billion indicating an increase of 42 per cent.
For one thing according to findings, more speakers are finding the forum a place to contribute and market their views on how to grow broadband networks, services and solutions in Nigeria .
It will be recalled that both the Information Technology Association of Nigeria (ITAN), the Association of Telecommunications Companies of Nigeria (ATCON), the Nigerian Internet Group (NIG), the Association of Licensed Telecommunications Operators of Nigeria (ALTON) and the Institute for Software Practitioners of Nigeria (ISPON) have all endorsed the Forum.
