Super Eagles winger, Osaze Odemwingie has said that it feels to be good to be back in action for the national team, who are in dire need of some inspirational play at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations here.

Odewingie, who  missed the first match which the Eagles lost to Egypt, was back in the fray at the weekend as the Eagles struggled to a 1_0 victory over the Squirrels of Benin Republic.

Despite not hitting the target, Odemwingie, said that he was relieved that the team got the win and promised to rev up the performance during the next game against Mozambique on Wednesday in Lubango.

“It feels really good to be back in action for the national team because that is what I like doing. I love my country so much and I am always willing to give my all whenever I have the chance to play for the millions of fans back at home.
“I was not happy to miss the first match against Egypt but that was something I could not help because I took ill and doctors advised that I recover first.

“It was good that we won and we hope to win on Wednesday  so that we would qualify for the next round but we need to be committed.”
