However, ast the Appreciation dinner in honour of the Super Eagles in Abuja, Guinness the official beer of the Super Eagles raved support for the tea, stating that 150 million fans, 11 players and 1 beer — Guinness — can unite in the power of the Nigerian spirit as the team heads off to its training camp to start preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations 2010.

The dinner which had in attendance Devlin Hainsworth, Managing Director, Guinness Nigeria Plc who took the opportunity to announce of the launch the Guinness “Power of Naija” football song and the SMS-based Guinness National Consumer Promotion (NCP).
The song which will enjoy airplay in radio stations across Nigeria celebrates the Super Eagles, inspires them to Reach for Greatness and to achieve victory, the song also calls on Nigerians to unite behind the team.
