Doctor’s wife’s kidnappers demand N20m

By Austin Ogwuda
Asaba — ABDUCTORS of wife of a medical doctor attached to General Hospital, Oleh, Delta State, have demanded a ransom of N20 million.

They spoke directly with the husband to assure him that they were actually with the wife.
Family sources told our reporter that the family was worried about the sad development and have pleaded for her release.

The sources, pleading anonymity, said “we are shocked about the kidnap. They are demanding N20 million and they allowed the husband to speak with the wife. We are pleading that she should be left unhurt.”

The wife of the doctor, Mrs. Efe Aluta, was seized by gunmen after they smashed the windscreen of her car when she went to drop her children in school Monday morning.
