AS part of its commitment to extend its products and services across the nation, Indigenous smart phone producers, Anabel Mobile has opened an ultra modern experience center in Abuja capital territory, underscoring the commitment of the brand to give users world class products and services.
The center, located at Transcorp Hilton Abuja with the state-art-technology equipment is expected to support users of the Anabel devices in the Abuja capital territory and its environs. Similar care centers, which had already been opened in Lagos are being planned for Port Harcourt, Kano, Enugu and Onitsha respectively in the current financial year.
The Abuja center at the Transcorp Hilton was declared open by the Hon Minister of Information and Communications Prof Dora Akunyli.Â In attendance were several top Federal Government Officials including the Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Osita Chidoka, Special Adviser to the Vice President on Economic Matters Mr. Sam Wolu, Executive Secretary for Nigerian Human Rights Commission Barr Roland Ewubare, Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President Dr. Ifediora Amobi, and a host of personnel from the Nigerian Communications Commission, the Nigerian Television Authority and the Nigerian Information Technology and Digital Agency.
A wide range of Private Sector captains of Industry also graced the occasion including Senator Ben Obi, Senator Nnamudi Ereobunna, Prof Manny Aniebunam, Chief Oba Nwandu, Emeka Ugwu-Oji, Alhaji Mohammed,Â These centers, according to the President and CEO of Anabel Group, Nicholas Okoye would provide the warranty which the Anabel devices come with as well as give the public an opportunity to test out our products before they purchase.
While expressing optimism in made-in-Nigeria products, he assured that the ultra modern experience center can take care of any manufacturerâ€™â€™â€™â€™s defects that may arise. â€œâ€œAnabel mobile has come to stay. We are committed to our customers. Our customers are very important to usâ€â€ Okoye who is very passionate about capacity building said.
The centers, Okoye said, will also serve as a point of contact for replacement parts as well as for purchase of new products for loyal Anabel customers . Anabel is the first Device Manufacturer to subject itself to the NCC certification process and its devices also supports SONCAP certification.
â€œThe Center has diagnostic capabilities and can detect problems to any Anabel device once it has been assessed by modern tools. â€œ The ultramodern center will serve as a sales point, and as well as a first line of support for Anabelâ€™â€™s entire range of devices such as its Smart Phones and hand held PCs, its digital media devices and its very popular Effizzy dual sim phoneâ€â€ he explained.
It would be recalled that Anabel Mobile has been identified as one of the trail blazers in this direction having launched the first Nigerian mobile phone and first Nigerian hand held computer or Smart phone that runs on windows mobile operating system by Microsoft. Anabel presently produces professional series smart phones which are indeed hand held computers, they also produce â€œdigital media devicesâ€ which can play video, music, FM Radio as well as its ability to record voice and other sounds. Anabel mobile is Africaâ€™â€™s first smart phone with value added services and functunalities such as the â€˜â€˜push and pull emailâ€™â€™ which has been the hallmark of the Blackberry device.
