The poor rating of Nigerian referees became glaring yesterday when the list of referees for the Angola Nations Cup was released and no Nigerian referee was considered good enough for the job. Sixteen referees and 16 assistant referees were selected.

However, Edibe Peter was selected as one of the assistant referees. Corruption has been the bane of Nigerian referees. Below is the list.
