UGHELLI — A chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Jude Onya, has hailed the recent election tribunal judgment in favour of the Delta State governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, describing it as a victory for all Deltans.
Onya stated this, weekend,  while reacting to the ruling of the retrial tribunal in Asaba, Delta State, which struck out Chief Great Ogboru’s petition challen-ging the election of the governor.

He congratulated the governor on the verdict and called on the Democratic Peoples Party (DPP) governorship candidate, Chief Great Ogboru, and his supporters to sheath their sword and support the present  PDP  administration in its effort to build structures for economic development of the state.

Onya said, “It is better to galvanise support towards development than dissipa-ting endless energy on litigation that leads nowhere.

“Ogboru and his supporters that have been waging endless war against the governor over his election for two years now, should have the interest of the development of Delta at heart and drop all charges against the governor.

“This is a distraction, though Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, has remained resolute in the execution of his 3-Point-Agenda.”
of peace and security, human capital development, and infrastructural development, and has not allowed this to distract him.”

Onya said the PDP administration in the state was winning on peace and security, building infrastructure and human capacity, adding that it was time to stop distracting government with unwarranted petitions.

He enjoined all Deltans not to relent in their support for the governor to encourage him to do more for the state.
