Civil Servants appointed as Directors and Permanent Secretaries in Ekiti State are now required to take part in Quality Assurance Test (QAT).
The state governor, Engr Segun Oni disclosed this during the inaguration of eight new Permanent Secretaries in the state, saying promotion in service would no more be whom you know or area where one comes from.
The newly inaugurated Permanent Secretaries are Mrs Ajoke Oluwasanmi, Mrs Adesola Oke, Mr Olaleye Fagbemi, Barrister Joseph Oyebola, Mr Kunle Abegunde , Mrs Olapeju Babafemi, Dr Obadare Ojo and Mr Foluso Daramola.
Oni described the new Permanent Secretaries as products of a rigorous Quality Assurance Text that lasted for three nights stressed that the 8 appointees were eminently qualified to be appointed permanent secretaries in the public service of any country of the world by virtue of their educational background and track.
