Coach of Korea Republic, Jong Kwang Lee has tipped the Golden Eaglets as the form team to win the FIFA Under_17 World Cup, which moves into its semifinal stage, with two matches being played tomorrow at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.

Switzerland play Colombia in the first match of the day before the Nigerian side step onto the pitch to confront their fierce rivals, Spain, in the second match, that promises to be filled with all the ingredients that make for good football.

Speaking after watching his talented side crash out of the tournament in Calabar, after they lost 3_1 to the Eaglets on Monday, coach Lee said that it was looking increasingly likely that the Nigerians would retain their crown, which they had won two years back in Seoul, Korea.

While rating his wards display against Nigeria, coach Lee said that the latter showed sheer quality to inflict defeat on his team.

“My boys did give their best. They were fantastic but they met a very good Nigerian team, who look good to win the Cup. The Nigerian players are very talented group of individuals and they just showed that they are ahead of us, with their performance.

“I am satisfied that my players gave out their best. For me, reaching the second round was a big achievement and to even get to the quarterfinal was an extra and we would have loved to continue but we met a fantastic team, who deserved to be where they are.

“Nigerian players are world_class players. You cannot write them off from doing something great when the match is still on. That was what happened because after we equalized, they just played something that made us to give up”, said Lee, who spoke through an interpreter.
