WARRI — PEOPLES Democratic Party (PDP) stalwart in Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State, Engr. Efe Usen, has said that the recognisable impact Gover-nor Emmanuel Uduaghan has made in the state with his 3-Point Agenda will earn him a second tenure in 2011.
Usen, who is a member of the Urhobo Consultative Forum (UCF), stated this in a chat with newsmen, weekend, when the member representing Ethiope Federal Constitue-ncy at the National Assem-bly, Halims Agoda, played host to UCF executive members.
He said Uduaghan deserv-es not just applause, but a second term in office, considering the develop-mental projects that have sprung up in the state so far under his watch.
He also commended Agoda for “his vocal activities and adequate representation of his people at the floor of the Houseâ€.
Usen the people of Delta Central to throw their weight behind Agoda for the Senate position at the appropriate time.
To Idjerhe natives, he said they should appreciate him for his untiring efforts in attracting democratic dividends to Idjerhe kingdom and the entire Ethiope Federal Constituency.
He said since governance required people who were not only intelligent and capable, but with proven integrity, Agoda should be given the opportunity to go to the Senate in 2011, as he would not disappoint the electorates if given with the mandate.
Usen called on Idjerhe people to rally round Commissioner for Science and Technology in the state, Engr. Anthony Akpomiemie, so that his stewardship in Uduaghan’s cabinet will be successful.
The PDP stalwart also urged Deltans to support the former governor of Delta State, Chief James Onanefe Ibori, who laid a solid foundation for Uduaghan’s government in whatever political ambition he may pursue in the nearest future.
