Flood took over most parts of Lagos today as a result of the early morning heavy down pour.

The heavy down pour which started at about 6am lasted till midday causing huge vehicular traffic that led to an unprecedented about gridlocks in most part of the metropolis.

Commuters plying the the Apapa-Oshodi Expressway went through harrowing experience as flood took over the Mile 2  end of the road  leaving most of them stranded while others were seen trekking to their various destinations.

Many passengers spent over 4 hours from Oshodi to Mile 2.

As at press time, many commuters are still held up in the traffic.
