For the fifth time in as many months, the Federation of International Football Associations, FIFA, has appointed Nigeria’s Emmanuel Obafemi Dada to superintend over a World Cup qualifying match.

According to a letter signed by Jim Brown, FIFA Director of Competitions, this time, the CAF and FIFA referee’s instructor, will be heading to Cotonou in Benin where he will be required to assess the referees for the World Cup qualifying match between Benin and Ghana coming up on Sunday, October 11, 2009 by 1600 hrs local time.

The referees from Malawi, namely Lwanja Verson, Champiti Moffat, Mhango Paul and Ngosi Kalyoto Robert will have Togo’s Seyi Memene as Match Commissioner.

It will be recalled that Ghana has already qualified for the World Cup from this group, whereas Benin needs to ascertain its Nations Cup position.
