LAGOS – Arik Air has appointed Mr. Chris Ndulue as its new Managing Director, thus becoming the first Nigerian to occupy the top post since the airline was established two years ago.

Ndulue replaces Mr. Michael McTighe, an  Irish, who the airline said had proceeded on an extended leave of absence.

Arik in a statement issued yesterday, did not, however, give reasons for McTighe’s extended leave of absence.
