MTN launches HyConnect Wireless Internet service

MTN, the leading communications company in Nigeria, is blazing another trail with the introduction of a new Internet service primed to bring efficiency and convenience to offices and homes. Christened MTN HyConnect Wireless Internet, the new offering further enriches MTN’’s bouquet of innovative value added services.

““MTN HyConnect Wireless Internet is a prepaid high speed Internet service that combines the speed and reliability of a fixed broadband Internet with the convenience and flexibility of a mobile Internet service,”” said MTN Chief Enterprise Solutions Officer, Derek Appiah.  According to him, MTN HyConnect Wireless Internet is coming from the stable of MTN Business; a Division in MTN, focused on assisting businesses realize their full potential by availing them of an array of productivity-enhancing solutions.  MTN HyConnect Wireless Internet, he said, offers ultra fast download speeds of up to 1Mbps, running on MTN’’s WiMAX network with coverage spanning select locations in Lagos and Abuja.
