As the 10th Edition of the 2009  Abesan Unity Cup kicksoff on Monday, August 24th 2009,  Philanthropist, Bayo Olugbemi has urged the technical crew of the U-17 national team  to visit the venues of the competition in order  to fish out talents, as Nigeria prepares to host the world come  October .

According him, there are chances of discovering  buddling talents capable of  playing for the nation at the forthcoming World Cup.
“We invite handlers of the Golden Eaglets to Abesan, venue of the Abesan Unity Cup. With the MRI screening players from the U-17 team, the competition is a good avenue to find replacements for the dropped players. As the competition  kicks-off next week,  it is advisable for coaching crew to visit the venues for the competition.

“This is an opportunity for them to discover players for the under 17 national team. Nigeria is blessed with talents and there are talents, eager to be discovered at the Unity Cup,” he advised.
