DR Peter Singabele, board member of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, could not believe his eyes at the excellent facilities at the Teslim Balogun Stadium during the final of the Federation Cup which Enyimba won at the expense of Sharks of Port Harcourt.

“I read about the comments of Jack Warner on the excellent facilities but I am shocked to see that the facilities are world standard”, Singabele confessed. “I congratulate Governor Fashola for his dynamic leadership which has brought succour to the people of Lagos on all aspects.

I congratulate the NFF, too, for the organisation of the Federation Cup which has brought back fans to the stands. “I schooled in Lagos but hated coming back to Lagos because of the ‘madness’ but I was fascinated to see a beautiful Lagos during the final. I doff my hat for Fashola”, he noted.

Dr Singabele one of the astute members of the NFF also seized the opportunity to congratulate the Warri Sub-seat for the U-17 World Cup. “Warri is another place with beautiful facilities. I am happy that FIFA has recognised that. It is a clear proof the situation in the Niger Delta was not as bad. Also, football is an instrument to cement peace.

I congratulate the dynamic leadership of the Chairman of Delta State Sports Commission, Melvin Pinnick Amaju for his wonderful job on the sub seat”.
