Some prominent Nigerians on Monday expressed sadness over the demise of former Nigeria’s Permanent Representatives to the United Nations and elder statesman, Alhaji Maitama Sule.

Former Senate president, Adolphus Wabara, has lamented the nation’s loss of two patriotic and eminent citizens, Chief Ojo Maduekwe and Elechi Amadi. In a press statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Wabara said the late Chief Maduekwe was his close and long standing political associate who shared with him a great deal of concern about good governance in their native Abia state and the country at large.
