A pan-Igbo socio-cultural group, Ndigbo Unity Forum (NUF), on Tuesday hailed the landslide victory of Chief Victor Umeh in the Anambra Central Senatorial District re-run election.

FORMER National Chairman of All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, and candidate of the party for the rescheduled Anambra Central Senatorial rerun election, Chief Victor Umeh yesterday, dismissed the ruling by Justice Tsoho of the Federal High Court, Abuja, who directed the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to issue certificate of return to Chief Obiora Okonkwo of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, as the senator–elect for Anambra Central.

The National Coordinator, APGA Media Warriors Forum, Evang Chinedu Obigwe on Monday called on Anambra electorate to drum support for the APGA candidate in the forthcoming Anambra Central Senatorial election, Chief, Sir. Victor Umeh, noting that Umeh has contributed immensely to the success of APGA and development of Anambra state in general via his witty and knowledgeable contributions to the state.
