Governor Nyesom Wike’s termination, last week, of Rivers State government owned  ‘high value’ assets to firms under Sahara Group, a conglomerate previously controlled by Tonye Cole, All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate for the state, has left on its trail a  controversy.

Rivers State Government has advised Mr. Tonye Cole, All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate in the state to stop sermonising about the sale of state assets to his companies, but to dwell on the sales of public assets to companies linked to him by the previous administration.
