Officials of the Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA have been summoned to appear before the Senate on Thursday to explain how 282 ships disappeared from Nigerian ports between 2010 and 2016.
31 ships laden with frozen fish, coke, sugar, salt, gas to arrive Lagos ports
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), on Monady, stated that no fewer than 31 ships, laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods were expected to arrive at Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos from June 12 to June 23.
44 ships arrive Lagos ports, 8 with 233,000 tonnes of petrol
A TOTAL of 44 vessels are expected to sail into the country with various items before the end of the month. Shipping position made available to newsmen showed that eight of these vessels are carrying over 233,000 metric tonnes of petroleum products some of which include Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, and Kerosine, DPK.
