Teachers and pupils of Teslim Elias Model Primary School, Isale Eko, Lagos would no longer squat to piss or poop on the dilapidated pit toilet, as Rotary Club of Lagos Island, RCLI District 9110 recently splashed over N2.5 billion naira to renovate the toilet facilities there.

Chairperson of Project SAKHI, an initiative of Rotary Club of Lagos Island (RCLI) District 9110, Ashvini Nagarkar, disclosed that the RCLI has given out free sanitary napkins to female students of Victoria Island Senior Secondary and Kuramo Senior Secondary Schools in Lagos.

In line with the 2019, World Malaria Day theme: “Zero Malaria Starts with Me,” Vanguard Newspapers in collaboration with Rotary Club and the Pest Control Association of Nigeria, PECAN, on Thursday carried out free fumigation exercise in Kirikiri area of Lagos.

Over 50  Junior Secondary School students of a  government school in Victoria Island , Lagos, have benefitted from a four-month literacy project organized by Rotary Club of Falomo,  with a view to improving their  writing and reading  capability.
