Nigeria: One quit notice, too many

WHEN  some ’Boys’ gathered in the month of May this year to issue Quit Notice to Igbos to vacate the north by October 2017, they must have thought to themselves that they will shake Igbos, put fear in them, send them crawling on their bellies, and ask for mercies from the northern youths. But they did not and it will not happen. In 45 days from today the time for Igbos to leave the north will expire, yet Nigeria has refused to listen to the Arewa Spoiled brats!

Notice of quit: S-East group collects signatures to UN, AU, others

In an attempt to get the federal government, United Nations and other world leaders act against the notice of quits issued Ndigbo by a coalition of Arewa Youths wherein they Arewa Youths) asked Ndigbo to vacate the northern part of the country before October 1, 2017, a leading Igbo socio-cultural association, Nzuko Umunna, said it has started gathering signatures in a petition it has written to President Muhammadu Buhari, Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, the UN and its Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, the AU, ECOWAS, EU and Amnesty International to see that the looming danger that may arise from the eviction order is nipped in the bud.
