Covid-19: Warif tackles abuse of women, girls in self isolation through partnership with the Nigerian Police
Lagos, March 27th 2020- As the number of Covid-19 cases continues to increase across Nigeria and with stringent measures being put in place for individuals to quarantine and self-isolate, Women at Risk International Foundation (WARIF), an NGO focused on reducing the prevalence of gender-based violence in Nigeria, have become more concerned with the increase in the number for survivors who may be at risk with an abuser during quarantine.
