THE Chief Missioner of Nasrul Lahil-L-Fatih Society, NASFAT, Imam Mahroof Abdulazeez Onike has broken new ground in dawah (propagation of religious ideals) with his recent successful participation in the just concluded International Human Rights Defenders Forum in Atlanta, United States of America at the instance of the Carter Center Inc., a pet project of former US President Jimmy Carter.

Don’t give religious colouration to Benue killings— Onike, NASFAT CM

Imam Abdul-Azeez Maruf Onike, Chief Missioner, Worldwide, NASFAT has said  the protest staged last weekend by some Christians made the criminal and senseless killing in some parts of the country look as if it were religiously motivated  by  insinuating that Christians are the target group.Onike stated this in his reaction to the development made available to Vanguard recently. In his statement, he said:  “While NASFAT has taken it as one of its cardinal duties to ensure that  our dear country continues to retain her status as a place where healthy inter-faith relations and peaceful co-existence are  not sacrificed for anything; the protest staged yesterday by some of our brothers in the other faith makes the criminal and senseless killings in some parts of the country look as if it were religiously  motivated by insinuating that Christians are the target group.
