The travails of Prince Eze Madumere took a dangerous slide Thursday, as the Imo State Police Command has reportedly withdrawn its personnel guarding him.

The impression created by the Imo State Government that the swearing-in of the newly appointed deputy governor designate, Mr. Callistus Ekenze, was scuttled by a fresh court order, has been described as “misleading, mischievous and diversionary “.

Vehicular and business activities were Tuesday, shut down as over 3,000 people peacefully processed through the major streets of the municipality, to register their anger over the planned impeachment of the Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere.
Civil servants, school children and businessmen abandoned their vehicles and trekked the remaining distance to their destinations, as the human traffic took over the streets.
