The Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El- Rufai, Thursday gave an insight on how the federal government spends about Three million five hundred thousand naira (3.5), monthly to feed the detained leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), Sheikh Ibraheem El-Zakzaky.

The National Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, along with the minister of information and culture, Alhaji Lai Muhammed, Kano Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Lasun Yusuf and other party leaders, Wednesday visited the home of Senator Iyiola Omisore of Social Democratic Party, SDP, to seek his support in tomorrows’ re-run between Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola of APC who polled about 254,345 votes and Senator Ademola Adeleke of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who gained 254,699 votes.

The minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Muhammed, Tuesday boasted that the All Progressives Congress, APC would win in the re-run election scheduled for Thursday 27 September by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

Following the Osun governorship election that was declared inconclusive by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and the Peoples Democratic Party’s reaction that whizzed in, the minister of information and culture, Alhaji Lai Muhammed, Monday lambasted PDP for urging INEC to declare its candidate, Ademola Adeleke winner of the election.
