The Nigerian Army has started taking delivery of vehicles it ordered from Innoson Motor Manufacturing Company which were configured for deployment for Operation Lafiya Dole and other military operations.

In a bid to maintain its promise and patronize locally made products, Nigerian Army has on Sunday began and has took delivery of Innoson war trucks to tighten security in the country.

INNOSON Vehicle Manufacturing Company, has insisted that the charge filed against it by  the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, before a Lagos State High Court, was a trumped up  charge.

The Nigerian Army, on Tuesday, formally entered into partnership with Nigerian indigenous motor manufacturing company, Innoson Motors Manufacturing Company for modification of some of its equipment, local production of armoured fighting vehicles and other military hardware. NNEWI—DR Innocent Chukwuma, popularly known as Innoson, has denied the fraud charge filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, insisting that the commission was working with an international competitor, to kill his company.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has filed a fraud charge against Mr. Innocent Chukwuma, alias Innoson, his company Innoson Nigeria Limited and his brother Charles Chukwuma.

Mr. Innocent Chukwuma, the CEO of Innoson Nigeria Limited has withdrawn a fundamental right enforcement suit filed against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and five other respondents.

Such was his shock and anger at the turn of events that the real estate magnate and owner of the resplendent, opulent and stunningly beautiful ‘Amen Estate’ on the outskirts of Lekki in Lagos, Babatunde O. Gbadamosi, wrote the following:
